Megan Haverstock
I am Ceramic Artist from Fort Wayne, Indiana who started Haverstock Studios in the Spring of 2021 after completing a Bachelor of Art in Pre-Art Therapy and Studio Art with a concentration in ceramics from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne. My ceramic art includes functional work as well as conceptual, sculpted pieces that create a deeper focus on the objects that we use in our everyday lives and how we choose to interact with them.
Art is a powerful form of expression that often exceeds what we can communicate verbally. The senses are what guide the human experience, and aid in our ability to express ourselves successfully to others. This work adds a personal element to the user’s sense of touch and awareness, as well as spontaneity and harmony that is visually pleasing.
